  • Jack is a gorgeous and very versatile stallion. Descending from top jumping lines, there is no fence too high for him. He jumps incredibly under saddle and in hand. His ground manners are also exceptional as he is kind, extremely responsive, gentle, willing and co-operative, which is uncommon in a stallion. However he is slightly less of an angel under saddle, being a little stubborn at times and needing some patient coaxing. He was imported in from Holland to expand Phoenician? Dutch breeding program, and we have high hopes for his foals. A Grand Prix show jumper, he is very scopey and powerful with a great mind for jumping, and will find the distances and bail his rider out of a bad spot. With stunning movement and lots of ring presence, he definitely gets noticed with ease. Also, he has large strides and a rhythmical cadence.

He currently has several foals on the ground, and it is clear that he has stamped his progeny with good looks, a fine sense of intelligence and plenty of spirit and co-operative mannerisms. We can tell that all his foals have great jumping potential, and definitely have bright futures ahead of them.

Jack was awarded the REAA title in January 2008

    Sire's Lineage
Jack's sire, Voltaire, stands very high on the index for dressage and jumping. Voltaire is the result of crossing two outstanding bloodlines, Furioso II and Gotthard. Furioso II produced 200 state premium mares and at least 68 approved stallions of which several are standing at stud in other continents. According to some people, Furioso II has influenced the breeding industry world-wide. Also, Voltaire won atthe highest level, in shows such as the Nations Cup classes at Calgary, Stockholm, sHertogenbosch, Lanaken, Helsinki, Wiesbaden and Wembley.

    Dam's Lineage
Jack? dam, Selena was a producer of top show jumping progeny, having 4 out of 6 foals reach Grand Prix level. His grandsire is Gentleman, an international showjumper, and his great grand-dam is Amika who competed internationally in Showjumping for Holland. Amika is the full sister to Calypso, the gold medal winner in the 1984 Olympics for showjumping. His grand-dam, Sentimental, was an international Grand Prix Dressage competitor, and has produced some top dressage foals as well.
